The APOEL Academy gave us a very touching moment as part of the club’s 100th-anniversary celebrations.
In a video posted by the “blue-and-yellows” on social media, dozens of children are shown standing on the field at Archangelos, using their bodies to form the number “100” and the word “YEARS.” The drone’s camera starts with the children’s faces and slowly rises higher, until the entire stadium is visible, illuminated in the night, and the anniversary message can be read in its entirety from above.

The children joined their voices together and sang, with the message—as the Nicosia team notes—addressed “to the generations that have passed, to the souls watching from above,” showing that APOEL’s history does not end after a century, but continues through the younger generation.
