A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear, though locally increased low cloud cover will gradually develop. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form in some areas, mainly in the east and inland. Winds will initially blow from the southwest to the northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort; however, they will gradually weaken and become downslope and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort. The sea in the south and east will become calm to slightly rough, but in the west and north it will remain slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 24 degrees inland and along the eastern coast, around 22 degrees along the rest of the coast, and around 17 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow, the weather will be generally mostly clear, though locally increased cloud cover will be observed at times. Winds will initially be variable and light, at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the afternoon along the coast, moderate to strong and locally strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally a little choppy. Temperatures will rise to around 37 degrees inland, around 28 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 34 degrees along the rest of the coast, and around 27 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow night, the weather will be mostly clear with occasional low cloud cover, mainly along the coast. Later on and during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form locally, mainly in the east and inland. Winds will gradually become downslope and locally variable, light, at 3 Beaufort. The sea in the south and east will gradually become calm to slightly rough, while in the west and north it will remain slightly rough.
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the weather in most parts of the island will be mostly clear with temporarily increased cloud cover, while during the midday hours and afterward, developing clouds are expected to bring isolated showers, and isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out, especially in the mountains.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly through Sunday, remaining slightly above normal levels for this time of year.
