Marko Nikolić enjoyed AEK’s success in his first season as head coach, but he isn’t resting on his laurels. With the team’s preseason training camp in the Netherlands now underway, the Serbian coach sent his own message. He points out that although history was made last season, a new chapter is now beginning, and he is even more hungry for success.

“2025/2026: A memorable and historic season. 2026/2027: A new chapter, a new season, a new challenge. Hungry for success, more than ever,” Nikolić wrote on Instagram, having signed a contract extension through 2029.
