The hearing before the Permanent Criminal Court sitting in Paphos will ultimately be held behind closed doors, in the trial of the suspended mayor of Paphos, Faidon Faidonos, in the case of the rape of a woman allegedly committed years ago.
The court announced its decision today, after hearing arguments from both sides at a previous hearing and recording Mr. Faidonos’s position, in which he responded “no admission” to all the charges he faces, including rape and drugging.
