Nearly three decades after Princess Diana’s death, a private phone conversation from those dramatic days in 1997 has resurfaced and sparked one of Buckingham Palace’s most unusual public reactions.
Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, claims in his new book *Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” that the then-Prince Charles told him, a few days after the death of his ex-wife: “Rest assured, we’ll forget her soon enough.”
