The resignation of Haris Georgiadis from his position as President of the “Glafkos Clerides” Institute is not acceptable, clarifies DISY President, Anita Dimitriou, in a post on X.
As she notes, the issues that have arisen cannot be resolved through resignations, but rather through dialogue, which she intends to promote in the coming period.
At the same time, Ms. Dimitriou notes that she has already clearly stated her personal decision, emphasizing that her sole goal and motivation was the unity of the party.
In the same message, she calls on everyone to rise above their differences and join forces so that the Democratic Alarm can be set on a course toward victory.
“We must realize that the floor belongs to our people, and the verdict of our thousands of members must be fully respected,” she concludes.
