The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, extending his condolences to the families of the victims, the Spanish people, and the country’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.
In a post on the X platform, President Christodoulides stated, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic train collision in Spain.”

“I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the Spanish people, and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez,” he adds.
