The EPO Appeals Committee decided to reject the appeals filed by Volos and Panserraikos regarding the case of match-fixing in their head-to-head games during the 2024-2025.
The Ethics Committee had penalized the Thessalian team with a three-point deduction, while the “Lions” of Serres had lost four points.
The decision is now final: both teams will permanently forfeit the points, as ruled by the EPO Appeals Committee, while the 20,000 euros against Greek soccer player Stavros Petavrakis, who was playing for the Serres team at the time and now plays for Zakynthos, has also been upheld.
