Good news for Azedine Ounai, who underwent (10/29) a completely successful surgical repair of the tendon in his right calf, which had suffered a complete tear.
Starting tomorrow, in fact, the Moroccan midfielder for Panathinaikos will begin a specialized rehabilitation program, with a projected return to active play in four to five months.
In practical terms, following this development, Ounaï’s return—provided his rehabilitation proceeds according to the projected timeline—is expected to take place between late February and late March 2027.
It is worth noting, however, that in addition to the “clover” team’s doctor, Charis Lalou, the world-renowned orthopedic surgeon Nicolas Lefebvre and Christophe Bande, the doctor for the Moroccan national team and a consulting physician for Paris Saint-Germain.
