A 31-year-old man is in critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital following a workplace accident that occurred in the Larnaca district.
Specifically, at around 5:40 p.m. today, the police were notified by the on-duty police officer at Larnaca General Hospital about a 31-year-old man who was in the first-aid station following a workplace accident that occurred at a factory in the Larnaca district.

Officers from the Kiti Police Station and officials from the Labor Inspection Department immediately arrived at the scene, where, according to the investigation, the 31-year-old man reportedly fell to the ground from a height of approximately five meters.
Due to the seriousness of his condition, the 31-year-old was transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The Labor Inspection Department issued a work stoppage order for the factory in question.
The Kiti Police Station, in cooperation with the Labor Inspection Department, is continuing its investigation.
