The revelations coming to light regarding the murder of 61-year-old Olga Vasileva by the 43-year-old confessed perpetrator are shocking.
As reported by Alpha’s Limassol correspondent Erica Kavazi on the program “Alpha Kalimera,” after killing the 61-year-old by beating her to death with a hammer, the 43-year-old threw her into a four-meter-deep drainage pit on a field she owned in Sa, he doused her body with bleach.
The 61-year-old was last seen on October 21, and her disappearance was noticed on October 28, thanks to her dog, which was barking, prompting the apartment building manager to contact a friend of the 61-year-old.
The lawyer, accompanied by the police, went to the apartment, where they found the dog malnourished; according to witnesses, the 61-year-old would never have abandoned her dog.

One day after the 61-year-old Olga was reported missing, the 43-year-old booked a ticket to Beirut, and on October 30, authorities arrested him at the airport.
Investigators obtained testimony stating that the 43-year-old man from Syros had persistently demanded a large sum of money—70,000 euros—from Vasileva, for an alleged traffic accident in which he was involved. According to the same testimony, the 61-year-old, wanting to help him, offered to return a necklace he had given her as a gift, worth 10,000 euros, which, as the 43-year-old later stated, was fake.
