Stephen Curry continues to make NBA history, leading the Warriors to their seventh consecutive victory with a 126-119 overtime win over the Magic.
The 38-year-old superstar finished the game with 41 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, including five three-pointers, in yet another impressive performance.
The game was decided in overtime, with Curry making a game-changing basket and drawing a foul with 1:38 left, giving Golden State the lead. Shortly afterward, he also made a layup, essentially “sealing” the victory.
The Warriors, who had started the season 0-3, are now 7-3, having recorded seven consecutive wins. It is their longest winning streak since March 2025.
Curry also set another historic milestone. This was the 16th time in his career that he has scored at least 40 points in a regular-season game after turning 35, surpassing LeBron James, who has 15. Michael Jordan follows with 12.
The Warriors’ captain has now made at least five three-pointers in five consecutive games, from October 28 through November 7. This is the eighth time in his career that he has recorded such a streak within the same season—twice as many as any other player in NBA history.
At the same time, he became only the seventh player in league history to reach 26,000 points, 5,000 rebounds, and 6,000 assists.
Rookie Jaxel Ledeborg also provided significant help, scoring 23 points and grabbing 8 rebounds, while hitting a crucial three-pointer in overtime. Brandin Podziemski added 15 points, while Draymond Green dished out a season-high 13 assists.
For Orlando, Franz Wagner had 30 points and 11 assists, while Tristan da Silva and Wendell Carter Jr. each scored 19.
Regulation time ended in a nail-biter. Curry gave the Warriors the lead with a layup with 25.2 seconds left, but Jamal Kane tied the game with a putback just two seconds before the end, sending the game into overtime.
