Theater, workshops, music, and seminars
Let’s take a look at some suggestions for the week of November 8–14.
Workshop for Adults: “Conveying Memories: From the Museum to Silk”
Inspired by the Foundation’s Archaeological Museum’s Georgios and Nefeli Tziapra Pieridis Collection, through this hands-on scarf-making workshop, participants will explore the museum’s collection and transform objects, symbols, and personal observations into a contemporary design on silk fabric. Sunday, November 8, 2026, 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Lexi Theater presents “The 39 Steps,” a frantic theatrical comedy where mystery meets the absurd, roles change at breakneck speed, and the four actors do everything they can to keep the story on track!

“Classical Music Meets Comic Con Music”
A unique musical encounter that brings together the world of classical music with the magic of Comic Con
The Strovolos Municipality String Orchestra presents the concert “Classical Music Meets Comic Con Music” on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the Strovolos Municipal Theater, with free admission.
For the sixth consecutive year, the After:noon / Project team is organizing the visual arts event “Awareness 2026: ReHeritAge” at Acropolis Park in Strovolos!
The ReHeritAge exhibition approaches cultural heritage as a dynamic and constantly evolving process, rather than a static legacy. It explores how cultural memory is constantly being reconstructed through technological innovation, artistic experimentation, and changing social conditions. On November 13 and 14, at Acropolis Park in Strovolos, two days filled with creativity, inspiration, and connection await you!
In a world that, instead of respecting what it builds, destroys it—a world dominated by the hymns of war— the 13th New Music Festival of the Center for Cypriot Composers counters this with music as a voice for peace. A festival that explores the creative power of composers and presents new music as a necessity for security, peace, and spiritual communication.
One of the most beloved classic English fairy tales comes to life on stage through a contemporary, fresh, and striking theatrical approach. Performances begin November 14 in all cities.
The production bears the directorial stamp of Loris Loizidis, who also undertook the adaptation and reworking of the text, offering his own unique perspective on a story that has shaped generations of children.
