With the police assessing that the murder case of 61-year-old Olga Vasileva has been fully solved, the Limassol CID is continuing its investigations at an intensive pace to finalize the case file and refer the 43-year-old suspect to the Criminal Court.

It should be noted that the 43-year-old, who admitted his guilt and indicated the spot where he had dumped the body of the unfortunate 61-year-old woman in the Saittas area, was attacked by a fellow inmate and had to be taken to Limassol Hospital, where he received medical treatment, was discharged, and returned to police custody.

Next Monday, he is expected to appear in court again for a renewal of his detention order, and within the next week, according to police sources, the case will be referred for trial before the Limassol Permanent Criminal Court.
