An “industrial facility” was struck today by unmanned aerial vehicles in a region east of Moscow, according to Russian authorities, while Ukraine claims that a major oil refinery was struck.
“A massive drone attack is underway in the Nizhny Novgorod region overnight and this morning; more than a hundred drones have been destroyed,” announced regional governor Gleb Nikitin. “According to initial reports, there are no casualties. An industrial facility in the Kstovo area sustained significant damage,” he added in his statement, without providing details about the facility’s operations.
The new month starts on Day 1712 of Ukraine’s defiance in the face of Russia’s aggression. This is now the 58th month which has seen fighting on Ukraine’s land, a country which gave up nukes in exchange for written guarantees about its borders. Welcome to another daily thread.
