Kimi Antonelli’s coronation has been postponed! The Formula 1 “wunderkind,” with another stunning performance, celebrated on Sunday night (10/25) his ninth victory of the season, completely dominating the Austin track and being the first to see the checkered flag at the “Circuit of the Americas”!
Capitalizing on yesterday’s pole position, which put him at the front of the grid, the 20-year-old Italian not only withstood the pressure from Max Verstappen and the two Ferraris, but also managed to remain virtually unchallenged, cruising with ease and style to a magnificent victory that brings him just a breath away from clinching the World Championship title.

Notably, Antonelli won by a margin of 13 seconds over second-place Charles Leclerc, who in turn defeated Max Verstappen in a highly exciting battle that lasted for most of the race. The other Ferrari driver, Lewis Hamilton, who finished the race in 4th place, just 1.1 seconds behind the “Flying Dutchman”!
Rounding out the top ten were Lando Norris, Isaac Hajar, Oscar Piastri, George Russell, Liam Lawson, and Pierre Gasly, with the British Mercedes driver finishing in 8th place and effectively losing whatever slim hopes he had for the title!
More to come shortly…
