Michael Carrick’s future as manager of Manchester United now looks extremely bleak, following the team’s latest “setback” on Sunday (10/25) and their crushing 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
The “Red Devils” have not won a game since September 10, when they faced the weak Sabah in the Champions League group stage. Since then, they have suffered five losses in a total of eight matches across all competitions, with three draws during that span.
Despite the team’s fans showing their support for the British coach after today’s match, reports from the UK emphasize that his future as the club’s head coach… now hangs by a thread.
In fact, developments are expected in the coming days, as the management must make a difficult and tough decision for the good of the club, with the away derby against Chelsea (10/31) coming up in a few days.
We remind you that United, with just one win in their first eight Premier League matches, is in 16th place and just one point above the relegation zone.
