Apollon is set to play away today (10/25, 5:00 p.m.) against Karmiotissa at the “Stelios Kyriakides” Stadium for the seventh matchday of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.

The “blue-and-whites” are traveling to Paphos in high spirits, following victories over Krasava ENY and Nea Salamina, and will look to capitalize on their momentum to celebrate their third consecutive win.

If they succeed, they’ll reach 15 points—the same total as league-leading AEL. However, to remain at the top—even if they share the lead—the “Lions” must lose to Aris, and AEK must not defeat Omonia. If the “clover” prevails in Monday’s derby (10/26, 7:00 p.m.), we’ll have a three-way tie.

Ernán Lozada is in the fortunate position of having Gary Rodrigues back at his disposal, as he has recovered from his calf injury, while he is also counting on Ljubic and Veisbek, who had to leave the match against the “Red-and-Whites” due to discomfort.

Beyond that, he will be without Leuvenberg and Andreou, as well as the suspended Assunção. The situation regarding Danilo Spoljaric remains “unclear.”

On the other side, the Polemidia team is coming off a loss to Krasava ENY and will be looking for the best possible result, as the underdog.

Garpozis’s team is in desperate need of points, as it sits in last place. Of course, this is a highly challenging task, but they have no choice but to fight for their chances. On the positive side, the team has no injury concerns.
