Coming off a draw with Apollon (2-2) and a loss to Twente (3-1) in Europe, the “Blues” will aim to showcase the quality of their roster and welcome the international break with a smile.
The Cyprus Cup champions are currently in seventh place with 13 points. A win would take them to 16 points, tying Apollon for third place, while also bringing them within four points of the top spot.
Ricardo Sa Pinto faces a number of absences, with the injured Pepe, Engamaleu, Goldar, and Biel, as well as the suspended Kina, all ruled out. David Luiz is listed as doubtful.
On the other hand, the “Greens” defeated Nea Salamina (1-0) in the previous round and will try to capitalize on their momentum to “steal” whatever they can from a tough opponent.
The visitors are in eighth place with 11 points, and if they manage to defy the odds, they’ll overtake tonight’s opponent and close in on the top six.
