Roma put on an impressive performance at Udinese’s home stadium and scored four goals in the first half, allowing them to take it easy in the second half, with… the three points already safely in the bag (5-2).
Gasperini’s “Rossoneri” opened the scoring with a powerful header by Cristante in the 10th minute; Mora followed in the 31st minute off the far post, Malen in the 33rd minute with a comfortable finish inside the box, and Entika in the 38th minute, outjumping everyone in the air.

The home team fought back in the second half when, in the 50th minute, Gianniolo pulled one back to make it 1–4, and Palma scored his team’s second goal in the 78th minute, but there was no way the game would turn around. In fact, it was the Romans who had the final say, and Gilardi sealed the result in the 90’+2′.
