The Conservative Party, which is vying for power in Spain in the November 29 elections, has made its position clear regarding the 2030 World Cup!
According to *Athletic*, the leader of the Conservatives, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, if he is elected and becomes Prime Minister of Spain, will take the necessary steps to ensure that the 2030 World Cup final is held in the country.
Otherwise, he threatens that Spain will withdraw from the joint bid with Portugal and Morocco to host the World Cup, provided that the Africans win the tournament’s final match.
It should be noted that the 2030 World Cup is scheduled to be held at 11 Spanish stadiums, six in Morocco, and three in Portugal; additionally, to mark the 100th anniversary of the first tournament in 1930, matches will be held in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay.
The Moroccans, for their part, are hoping to host the tournament’s grand final at the Hassan II Stadium in Casablanca, which will have a capacity of 115,000 seats! If that happens, then who knows what the Spaniards will do…
