Alexander Zverev has officially risen to No. 1 in the ATP world rankings, pushing Jannik Sinner into second place. The German made history by becoming the 30th tennis player to reach the top spot, and only the second German after Boris Becker to achieve this distinction.
This is a momentous occasion in Zverev’s career; he has also secured the year-end No. 1 ranking, as Sinner has ended his season early due to injury. Thus, the 28-year-old German becomes the first player from his country to achieve this feat.
