Manchester United is preparing to face Roma in Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage, with the “Red Devils” going through a particularly difficult period, due to a string of poor results.
At the customary press conference, Michael Carrick answered questions from reporters, most of which concerned his future with the club.
The English coach, however, appeared optimistic about the future, emphasizing that the atmosphere within the team remains positive and that the recent setbacks have not affected his mindset. At the same time, he expressed his confidence in the players and their bond with one another, insisting that unity is key to turning things around.
Here’s what Michael Carrick had to say about his future:
“The negative results haven’t changed my mindset. The locker room is in good shape. Perception is a funny thing—you can make things look different. I have absolutely no doubt about the players’ dedication to the club and to one another.”
