According to ESPN reporter Shams Charania, the Portland Trail Blazers pulled off a blockbuster tradeblockbuster trade, acquiring Ja Morant and sending Jerami Grant and Chris Murray to the Memphis Grizzlies in return.

Morant is one of the NBA’s greatest talents; he was selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2019 draft by the “Grizzlies,” and he said “goodbye” after seven years.
This past season, he played in just 20 games but averaged 19.5 points, 8.1 assists, and 3.3 rebounds.
Memphis will now move forward without its cornerstone, though the additions of Jerami Grant (18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists) and Chris Murray (5.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists) are expected to provide a boost.
