Russia struck Ukraine with the largest number of ballistic missiles in a single attack since the start of the war, Ukraine’s acting foreign minister said today.
“Russia launched the largest number of ballistic missiles since the start of the war —about 40—in a brutal terrorist attack on the Ukrainian capital, resulting in deaths and injuries,” Andriy Sibicha said in a post on X.

“We are calling for an appropriate and strong response. We need overwhelming pressure on Moscow to put an end to this terror,” he added.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down 18 of the 41 missiles launched by Russia overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force (AF) announced today.

According to the Hellenic Air Force’s announcement, 23 missiles and 10 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) struck 20 locations during the attack, which was primarily aimed at the capital, Kyiv. The Air Force also stated that 108 of the 125 Russian drones were shot down.
Russian forces bombed Kyiv again on Saturday night into Sunday, killing at least one person and injuring 13 others, one day after the deadly Ukrainian attacks against Russia.
