Despite the driver’s attempt to steer the truck to the left to avoid the collision, he was unable to do so, resulting in the truck crashing into the three stationary vehicles.
According to local media, in addition to the three who lost their lives, another 10 passengers in the vehicles were injured.
The truck—which had no brakes—was traveling at such a high speed that it reportedly came to a stop 80 meters after colliding with the vehicles.
The accident also caused a fire and a power outage in the area where the tragedy occurred.
