AEK: The three forwards have already scored nearly half of the goals they scored in total last year

Jović, Varga, and Zini have gotten off to a flying start this season

ALPHANEWSLIVE

AEK has gotten off to a very productive start to the season, and its three forwards are scoring freely.

After just seven official matches, Luka Jović, Barnabas Varga, and Zini have combined for 14 goals—nearly half of what the three of them scored in total last season, when they tallied 32!

This season, the Hungarian forward already has 6 goals in as many appearances, the Serbian has added 4 more in the same number of appearances, while the Angolan, who has played in all of “Enosis”’s matches (7 in total), has also scored 4 times.

Last season (2025/26), Jović scored 21 goals in 43 appearances, Varga scored 6 in 21, and Zini scored 5 in 28.
