Ivan Savvidis’s message to the PAOK team was clear and centered on the league.
The club’s power broker attended the final training session before the derby against Aris, showed his full support for Alesio Lisi, and asked the players to come together as a united force, with passion, character, and self-sacrifice.

With the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” currently in a rebuilding phase, Savvidis has already set the season’s main goal—the league title—and has even provided the team with extra motivation in the form of a bonus that will be more than double that of previous years.
“I want you to give it your all from the first whistle to the last. Show your character; I want you to give it your all so we can win the championship. Tomorrow is the kickoff; this is a game that doesn’t call for emotion—it calls for character. Don’t think your opponent is weak just because they lost last week; you know how they’re approaching this game,” Savvidis said, among other things.
