A British man confessed today that he had been drugging and raping his wife in their home for two decades.

The man—a resident of northern England, approximately 60 years old, whose details were not made public to protect the victim’s identity—pleaded guilty in a Manchester Crown Court to 45 charges against him.

These include rape, sexual assault, and the distribution of sensitive personal material without consent during the period between 2004 and 2025. He also admitted to administering substances to his wife with the intent to drug her.

Prosecutors stated that the woman had been repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted in her own home after being drugged by her husband.

Twelve other men, ranging in age from 28 to 74, are also charged with sexually abusing the same woman between 2018 and 2025. All of them have denied the charges.

The other 12 men, who deny all charges against them, are:

– Carl Lindsay, 56, former CEO of the Totton Town soccer team.

– Daniel Rainer, 42, from Whitstable, Kent.

– David Graves, 59, from Derbyshire.

– Jonathan Kirk, 43, a senior paramedic from the Stockport area.

– Graham Brougam, 74, from Northwich, Cheshire.

– Philip Wild, 58, a former taxi service owner from the Stockport area.

– Mohammad Sabir, 28, a recruitment consultant from the Stockport area.

– Sean Pierce, 38, from the Stockport area.

– Jordan Wallace, 31, from Manchester.

– Alan Keelan, 42, a former coach of an under-16 soccer team, from the greater Manchester area.

– Richard Townsend, 37, from the greater Manchester area.

– Robert Stewart, 70, from the Stockport area, who denies one count of conspiracy to commit rape and two counts of rape.

The jury has already been sworn in to hear the case, which was initially expected to last up to 15 weeks.
