On Thursday night (September 25), the Greek national team celebrated a huge away victory—and a comeback win, no less—over Serbia in Belgrade, in the opening match of League A of the Nations League.
The “blue-and-whites” got what they deserved based on their performance, thanks to goals by Tzolis and Douvikas in the 74th minute and the 90+5th minute, respectively, giving our country its first three points in this year’s tournament.

A few hours after this major victory, the national team released behind-the-scenes footage from the match, featuring Vangelis Pavlidis’s simple yet inspiring speech in the team’s locker room before kickoff.
Here’s what Vangelis Pavlidis said:
“Guys, we’ve talked enough; we all know what we have to do. Let’s go all out! Talent alone isn’t enough.
We have to bring passion, focus, and character. Let’s do this together!”
