The Greek national team is now in Thessaloniki, as the “blue-and-white” squad returns to its home base and turns its attention to its next major challenge in the Nations League.
Jovanović’s team will face the Netherlands on Thursday (Oct. 1, 9:45 p.m.), as part of Matchday 3 of League A, having gained significant psychological momentum from their perfect start to the tournament.
The two consecutive victories against Serbia and Germany have created an excellent atmosphere within the Greek squad, which is now called upon to continue its run against the “Oranje.”
The Netherlands is in second place in the standings, two points behind Greece, a fact that makes this match even more important.
