Papadopoulos’s team is 7 points behind the leader and will seek to capitalize on the losses in the AEL-Aris and AEK-Omonia derbies in order to begin… narrow the gap and avoid falling too far behind early on.
The Greek coach faces several absences. The sidelined Carrillo and the suspended Sastre and Stafylidis are definitely out, while Mancini, Vrontis, and Limnios are listed as doubtful.
On the other hand, the “clover” is riding high heading into the GSP Stadium following its victory over Anorthosis and aims to capitalize on its positive momentum to secure points against yet another “big club.”
In this difficult challenge, the “"Greens" will also have the fans on their side, who acted quickly and snapped up the available tickets within 20 minutes of their release, demonstrating their "thirst" for a positive result.
The only “question mark” for Buijs is Zachariou’s condition.
