In detail:
On the derby: “I’m expecting a very difficult game against a strong opponent. I also believe it will help us improve compared to our last two matches and reach our usual level. The team is focused solely on the fact that we’re playing at home in front of our fans; we know what we have to do, we know what we want to do, and it’s up to us to play the kind of soccer we’re capable of and try to earn the three points.
We’ve seen that they’re the team that won the league last year. They’re playing very well in Europe. They’ve already secured two wins. They’re a well-organized team with plenty of threats on offense. But I believe we can compete with any team in the league, and we have our own way of posing a threat. We’ve proven that over the last two months, and I’m confident the team will be there to give it their all for the club.”
On the Cup match and the current situation: “The issue was fatigue and how to manage it. We didn’t have any injuries from the game. We have players returning who may be available; we’ll see. I believe it’s good to have plenty of options available who’ve had enough playing time over the last two weeks. So, everyone needs to be ready to step onto the field and give their best.”
To the fans: “I’m sure the fans will be behind us from the very first minute and will create that atmosphere, which I’ve felt ever since our very first game against APOEL. It’s a big game, and if we want to achieve something, we have to do it all together, and I expect them to support the players.”
