The Cyprus Association of Aestheticians has expressed strong concern regarding reports and media coverage referring to “Botox parties” held in private residences that are being passed off as beauty salons.
In a two-page statement, the association notes that the arbitrary use of this professional designation is misleading, creates false impressions among the public, and unjustifiably damages the image and credibility of an entire professional sector.
