Starting today, Monday, the administration of Vaxigrip TIV flu vaccines will begin through primary care physicians, as announced by the Ministry of Health.
Citizens are encouraged to contact their personal physician to schedule their vaccination.
According to the announcement, all citizens over the age of 6 months are eligible for the Vaxigrip TIV vaccine. Priority is given to vulnerable groups and high-risk groups, particularly individuals over 60 years of age, who are at increased risk of serious complications from the flu.
At the same time, vaccination with Efluelda is underway for people over 60 years of age.
The Ministry of Health urges, in particular, people belonging to vulnerable or high-risk groups to schedule their vaccination in a timely manner, which helps reduce the risk of severe illness and complications from seasonal flu.
