Sergio Conceição will be Fenerbahçe’s new head coach. The Portuguese coach has reached an agreement with the Istanbul-based club and will replace Ismail Kartal, who was fired following last Monday’s loss to Galatasaray (2-1).
The 51-year-old coach will make his debut in Wednesday’s Champions League match against Liverpool. Among other things, the former PAOK star has coached at Porto and Milan, and his most recent team was Al-Ittihad last season.
