Greek authorities were alerted after a suitcase containing human remains was found in the Agios Panteleimonas neighborhood in central Athens.
According to initial reports, a foreign national found the suitcase on the sidewalk and noticed a strong odor coming from inside it. The authorities were immediately notified, and police officers rushed to the scene.

Upon inspection, the officers opened the suitcase and were met with a gruesome sight, as a human body was found inside.
A medical examiner is expected to arrive at the scene to examine the remains and assist in the investigation of the case.
