AEK’s major European challenge continues, as on Wednesday night (November 4) will host Real Madrid at the “Allwyn Arena” for the fourth matchday of the Champions League group stage.
The Madrid team held their final practice on Tuesday morning (November 3) before traveling to Athens, with José Mourinho having to address two issues regarding the status of his players.
Specifically, Raúl Asenjo did not participate in the rest of the team’s regular training session, as he underwent individual training, with his condition being monitored ahead of the match against Enosis. On the other hand, Rodrigo was the only player absent from training, as he did not participate in the “Merenches’” final preparation session.

Ahead of the match against AEK, the Portuguese coach is expected to implement extensive rotation. According to “defensacentral,” Mourinho revealed that he is considering making three or four changes against AEK, confirming that one of the players who will get a rest is Aurélien Tchouaméni.
