Meanwhile, Nea Salamina hosts Omonia Aradippou at the “Ammochostos-Epistrofi” stadium in a relegation battle between two teams that haven’t earned three points in quite some time.
The action continues on Saturday (11/7), with the first game kicking off at 4:00 p.m. at the “Alphamega Stadium,” where AEL faces its city rival, Krasava ENY Ypsona. Three hours later (7:00 p.m.), Olympiacos and Apollon will face off at GSP Stadium, with the home team seeking its first win in the tournament and the visitors looking to extend their unbeaten streak.
The curtain will fall on Sunday (November 8) with three intriguing matches. First, at 4:00 p.m., the derby takes place at “Freedom Antonis Papadopoulos” Stadium, with Anorthosis facing Omonia. Later, at 7:00 p.m., Paphos is the favorite at home at the “Stelios Kyriakides” Stadium against Omonia 29 May and will look to prove it against… this season’s surprise team, for now.
The final match—and the one that will draw the most attention, not just for the competition itself—is the one to be held at GSP Stadium between APOEL and Aris. On the day they mark 100 years of history, the “blue-and-yellows” want to celebrate with a victory over the in-form “Light Brigade.” Following the match, an anniversary event will be held to celebrate this historic day for the club.
