Luka Dončić added yet another incredible shot to his collection, scoring from nearly three-quarters of the way down the court at the end of the first half of the Lakers-Blazers game.
With time running out, the Slovenian took the ball and shot from a distance of about 18.5 meters, just inside the three-point line on his side of the court.
The ball hit the backboard and dropped into the basket just as the second quarter ended, sending the stands at Crypto.com Arena into a frenzy.
Among the spectators was Bruce Springsteen, whose reaction to Dončić’s incredible basket also drew attention.
The shot was even more impressive given the Lakers’ poor performance from beyond the 7.25-meter line up to that point. The Los Angeles team had started the game by missing their first 15 three-point attempts before Dončić sank the most difficult shot of the night.
Of course, moments like this are not entirely unfamiliar to the Slovenian. In the season opener against the Golden State Warriors, he also sank a buzzer-beater from beyond the center line.
Luka Doncic banks in a halfcourt 3 and immediately goes back to chirping at Yaxel Lendeborg. https://t.co/LraBprOgbO
