Both Ferraris will start Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix with a ten-place grid penalty!
Scuderia decided to change the engines in its cars, meaning that both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be placed on the final race grid ten positions behind their qualifying positions.
The Italian giant has exceeded the limit of four engine units allowed per season, which is why it received the penalty.
As for Red Bull, Max Verstappen will start the race at Interlagos from the back of the grid, since the “Bulls’” engineers replaced not only the engine’s power unit, the turbocharger, and the exhaust system of his car, resulting in a significant penalty that effectively takes him out of the race early on.
