One of this year’s most exciting Bundesliga matches ended in a draw, with Dortmund finding a way to come away with a point from the “Allianz Arena.” The Westphalians found themselves trailing twice, but they didn’t give up and were rewarded just before the 90-minute mark, with Konstantinos Karetsas playing a pivotal role in the play that led to the final 2-2 score.

Bayern took the lead in the 38th minute through Laimer, who successfully finished off the home team’s attack, putting them in the lead. The Bavarians had a chance to extend their lead in the 56th minute, but Harry Kane failed to convert from the penalty spot, hitting the crossbar.

Dortmund capitalized on its chance and tied the game in the 60th minute, with Guirassy scoring off an assist from Chukwemeka. Bayern’s response was immediate, as six minutes later Upamecano made it 2-1, restoring his team’s lead.

In the 67th minute, Konstantinos Karetsas entered the game and went on to play a decisive role in the match’s outcome. In the 89th minute, the Greek attacking midfielder won the ball with a crucial steal from Pavlović, setting the stage for Dortmund’s attack. The ball reached Fabio Silva, who drove into the box and, with a cool finish, beat the opposing goalkeeper to tie the game at 2-2.

The Bavarians came close to scoring again, with Karl hitting the crossbar in stoppage time. Nevertheless, the final 2-2 score kept the two teams tied at the top of the Bundesliga with 18 points, in a derby marked by intensity, score swings, and a dramatic finish.
