Luis Enrique and Paris Saint-Germain continue to make history together and take European soccer by storm with their achievements!
Since the summer of 2023, when the Spanish coach took the reins at PSG, the Parisians have transformed into the ultimate European powerhouse, without even having to spend the exorbitant—and often outrageous—sums of the past!
On Wednesday night (August 13), Paris confirmed its dominance on the European stage, winning the Super Cup for the second consecutive season, following their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in Austria.
This was the French club’s 13th title under… Luis Enrique, with Paris’s “architect” and architect of its transformation earning worldwide recognition.
In the three years he has been at the helm of the team, the 56-year-old coach has led Paris to an equal number of Ligue 1 titles (2024, 2025, 2026), two French Cups (2024, 2025), three French Super Cups (2023, 2024, 2025), and the 2025 FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
At the same time, the club has achieved two impressive back-to-back victories in the Champions League and Super Cup over the past two years
