Dominik Livaković took the biggest step of his soccer career by signing with Barcelona on a contract that runs through 2030.
Meanwhile, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Croatian goalkeeper will undergo the necessary medical exams on Wednesday (August 26), after which the “Blaugrana” will make the announcement.
The Spanish champions have reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe for a fee of 2 million euros, while the total transfer value, including bonuses, could reach 4 million euros.
However, there are two possible scenarios for Livaković: either he will leave on loan and return next summer when Szczesny’s contract expires, or he will remain on the roster alongside Joan García and Szczesny if a suitable team cannot be found to take him on loan.
