Celta hosted Málaga for Matchday 5 of La Liga, with both teams looking for their first win of the season. The 1-1 final score, however, left both sides disappointed, forcing them to settle for a draw.
Celta had complete control of the match in the first half, dominating play across the field. That dominance paid off with a goal in the 41st minute, following a superb individual effort by Zutkla. The Spanish forward made an excellent run off the mark and, with a sweet chip from the edge of the box, sent the ball into the net for a 1-0 lead.
