Zinedine Zidane made sure to fill France’s roster with young players, whom he wants to evaluate in order to breathe new life into the “Tricolors,” but also to give opportunities to those who deserve them.
To achieve this, players such as Kanté, Benzema, Touré, Tchouaméni, and others were left off the roster, but “Zizou” made it clear that his decisions were made as part of the renewal of the national team and his desire to see some young players.
