Napoli and Lazio played to a 1-1 draw in the first of today’s (11/08) matches for Matchday 11 of Serie A at the “Diego Maradona” Stadium.
The visitors took the lead just before the half-hour mark, thanks to a goal by Fratesi, assisted by Noslin. Meanwhile, Mandas made sure to keep the score at 0-1 with an impressive double save just before halftime, denying attempts by Oliveira and Hoyland!

However, the “Partenopei” found the equalizer right at the start of the second half. When Pedraza, in his attempt to beat McTominay and Hoyland, sent the ball into his own net, making it 1-1. The score remained that way until the final whistle, as the pace of the game dropped dramatically.
Even so, however, Lazio remained alone at the top, undefeated, with nine wins and two draws, and four points clear of third-place Inter, which has played one fewer game. Meanwhile, Napoli failed to win for the fourth time in their last five matches and remained in the middle of the standings.
