Police officers in Rhodes arrested two individuals, aged 18 and 44, as well as a relative of a minor, after she was taken to the hospital, as she had lost consciousness following alcohol consumption.
According to a police statement, the incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, October 25. As the investigation revealed, the 18-year-old purchased a bottle of alcoholic beverage from a store owned by the 44-year-old and gave it to the minor.

After consuming the beverage, the minor became intoxicated and lost consciousness. She was transported by an EKAB ambulance to the General Hospital of Rhodes to receive first aid.
The two men were arrested at noon on Monday, October 26, by officers from the Ialysos Police Department, and charges were filed against them for violations of the law regarding the protection of minors from alcoholic beverages. The same case also involves a relative of the minor, who was arrested for neglect of supervision.
