Three cases of fraud, with a total haul exceeding 19,000 euros, were solved by officers from the Thermaikos Crime Investigation and Prosecution Division, who identified the three individuals involved.
The frauds took place from late June 2024 through early November of the same year. According to the police, one case involved a car sales ad, while in the other two, the perpetrators appear to have posed as accountants to deceive their victims.
Criminal cases have been filed against the individuals involved and are expected to be submitted to the competent prosecutor.
