Another setback for Ansu Fati, who is expected to be sidelined until the end of 2026 following an injury sustained during Monaco’s match against Lille on October 25.
Exams revealed a problem with his hamstring, and his recovery is expected to be lengthy. In fact, the team’s coach, Filipe Luís, confirmed that his return will not be immediate.
Meanwhile, Monaco has removed him from its European roster for the Conference League, with Folarin Balogun taking his place.
Fati had begun to find his rhythm again, scoring two goals in the Conference League against CSKA Sofia and Freiburg. However, this new injury puts the brakes on his progress, with the Spaniard having played just 209 minutes across five games this season.
